In the latest data released by ISI (2009 Journal Citation Reports © Thomson Reuters) the Biochemical Journal's Impact Factor has increased to 5.155.

The Council of the Royal Society has agreed to nominate Nobel Laureate Sir Paul Nurse to be the new President of the Royal Society, it was announced today. Sir Paul is a member of the Biochemical Society.
